SEEK Stations - Mixed Ages
Enjoy watching the bald eagles that nest north of River Bluffs Open Space. Larimer County Volunteers will share eagle facts, history and sounds as well as information about the nest, the eagles “favorite hunting tree,” and more. Spotting scopes will be available for viewing but please bring binoculars or a spotting scope if you have them. There will be good and safe viewing right from the trail head area. All ages and abilities are welcome. This is an open-house style event so stop in anytime during the program and highlights will be repeated as new guests arrive. Dress warmly for winter temperatures (winter hats, gloves, winter jacket, boots, warm socks, etc.) WEATHER DEPENDANT. Registered participants will be notified if the program is canceled and posted at https://www.larimer.gov/events.
