Join Larimer County Department of Natural Resources for a night of Campfire (Bird) Songs where we explore the fascinating world of bird communication. Learn to distinguish between bird calls and songs, listen to recordings of local species, and discover the behaviors behind these vocalizations. Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or a curious beginner, this evening promises to deepen your appreciation for Hermit Parks feathered residents. Participants will meet at the amphitheater by the Hermit's Cabin Day Use area at Hermit Park Open Space. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear layers, and bring a flashlight or headlamp. Program is free but registration is recommended. Parking permit required. This program is weather dependent.
