Get to know your favorite place better, or meet a new one! Each series of "Get to Know" hikes will focus on one park for a series of 3-4 hikes with a variety of topics, such as:
- Ecology- what lives here and why?
- History- who has had an influence on this land?
- Management- how has this land been managed in the past? How do people continue to manage it today?
- Geology- discover the ancient processes that have created the landscape we see today.
2025 will start with a series on Ramsay-Shockey Open Space.
