Volunteer Opportunity - Mixed Ages

Celebrate National Public Lands Day with us by helping make Horsetooth Mountain Open Space more beautiful and sustainable by picking up litter. Sign up as a group, family or individual. This activity is suitable for all ages (youth under 16 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult). Please plan to bring your own water, snacks and prepare to be outside. Litter pick up materials will be provided. This is a self-directed activity. No need to check-in prior to the event. We'll email you with further information such as best areas to focus on at your location. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer event for public lands. Established in 1994 and held annually on the fourth Saturday in September, the event brings out thousands of volunteers to help restore and improve public lands around the country. (Active LCDNR volunteers will receive volunteer hours.)
