Get a final chance to see the Bald Eagles nest before the leaves come out and maybe spot some tiny eaglet heads joining their parents. Larimer County volunteer naturalist Carl Sorrentino, who has been viewing bald eagles at River Bluffs Open Space for 19 years. Learn about the nest, their “favorite hunting tree,” eagle facts, history, sounds, and more. Bring binoculars or spotting scope (if you have them) for good, safe viewing right from the parking lot area. There will be spotting scopes on site to help with viewing as well. Stop by anytime during this open-house style event; highlights will be repeated as new guests arrive. Please wear masks for everyone's safety at the trail head This event is weather dependent.
