Night Owl Adventures - Mixed Ages
Come join us to learn more about the natural world! In this guided hike we will have our focus on Crepuscular Critters, animals most active at dawn & dusk! This will involve a couple activities, and a guided hike through Devil's Backbone. When arriving at the property please meet at the benches under the pavilion on the south side of the parking lot. Program is free, but registration is required. Devil's Backbone Open Space charges a $10 day use fee; if you would like to explore Devil's Backbone Open Space without paying the fee, you can check out a Discover Pack from a local library or one of our offices: https://www.larimer.gov/naturalresources/discover-pack Participants will hike the 2.5 mile Wild Loop. Meet at the pavilion by the Morrison Loop trailhead. This activity is rated: Easy/moderate (slow pace, trails are rocky with some elevation change. Pit toilets and potable water is available at the trailhead). Participants should bring: Layers Bug Spray Sunscreen Sunglasses Hiking shoes/tennis shoes Insect Repellant Waterbottle Snacks Backpack
